Manager, Rentals Collections

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 states, with limited exceptions.

Salary: $94,300–$150,700 annually in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC; $89,600–$143,200 annually in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia. Actual pay depends on experience, performance, and location.

What you will do

• Own Rentals collections performance, including days sales outstanding, aging, days to pay, recovery rate, bad debt, write-offs, and past-due balance reduction.
• Lead, coach, and develop onshore specialists, senior specialists, offshore partner supervisors, and the function’s staffing model.
• Set portfolio segmentation, credit strategy, approval rules, holds, suspensions, and write-off decisions.
• Manage outsourced delivery, including onboarding, training, service levels, quality audits, and the division of work between onshore and offshore teams.
• Partner with Rentals product teams, sales, customer support, Payments Program Management, and Accounting on at-risk accounts, billing issues, disputes, reserves, and allowances.
• Identify automation opportunities across Zuora, HighRadius, Salesforce, and AI tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in B2B credit and collections or accounts receivable, including at least three years leading teams or team leads.
• Deep understanding of the order-to-cash cycle, cash application, bad debt, and sales allowances.
• Hands-on experience with collections and financial systems such as Zuora, HighRadius, Salesforce, Workday, Oracle, or SAP, plus advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience managing outsourced or offshore vendors, setting service levels, and applying credit or collections policy under commercial pressure.
• Must be located in the United States for this remote role.
