Collections/Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid office-first setup with three days per week in the office for most roles

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of domestic and international customer accounts.
• Follow up on past-due invoices and resolve payment disputes.
• Investigate discrepancies, correct payment issues, and reconcile accounts.
• Maintain accurate documentation across financial systems and tools.
• Identify payment risks and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Provide clear, professional support to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least two years of collections experience, including experience in B2B and subscription-based environments.
• Full professional proficiency in English required.
• Direct customer communication experience and strong relationship-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, basic Excel reporting, and ERP systems.

Nice to have

• Spanish language skills; French, German, or Italian proficiency is also valued.
• Experience with Workday, Salesforce, HighRadius, Jira, or other collections and ticketing tools.
• Experience improving automation processes and using AI tools.
• Experience in an international SaaS or technology environment.
