Senior Software Engineer, Continuous Deployment (Autonomous Vehicles)

What you will do

• Own the reliability and operational excellence of the continuous deployment platform.
• Build and maintain the paved path for continuous delivery and the safety mechanisms that make deployments trustworthy.
• Partner with application teams and SRE to move services onto the platform.
• Turn recurring deployment friction into reusable platform capabilities.
• Define standards for safely shipping code to production and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience in platform, infrastructure, or production operations.
• Hands-on experience with continuous deployment systems in large organizations; Harness is preferred, with ArgoCD, Spinnaker, or comparable systems also relevant.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container-based deployments.
• Expertise in Python, Go, or Bash and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Helm.
• Strong customer-facing skills, including turning ambiguous problems into concrete plans, delivering measurable outcomes, and onboarding users.
• Ability to self-direct, prioritize high-impact problems, and make sound technical judgments.

• Experience building multi-tenant internal platforms used by many teams.
• Experience migrating multiple teams from a legacy system to a new platform.
