Water/Wastewater Engineer

Location: Denver and Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. The position requires business-related travel using a company or personal vehicle.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year, depending on experience and expertise.

What you will do

• Design and support water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure.
• Work on treatment, collection, distribution, and pumping systems.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Apply hydraulic engineering principles to client projects.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders.
• Travel for business-related activities and project work.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least four years of experience with water and wastewater facilities.
• Engineer-in-Training certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work in Denver or Colorado Springs, Colorado, and operate a vehicle for business travel.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license in Colorado or ability to obtain it within six months.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of hydraulic engineering and water/wastewater infrastructure.
