Director, Learning & Development (Automotive)

What you will do

• Own and execute the enterprise Learning & Development strategy and build a scalable capability architecture.
• Design leadership development for frontline leaders, managers, senior leaders, and executives.
• Create role-specific, field-based, compliance, succession, and self-directed learning programs.
• Shift development from event-based training to coaching, playbooks, apprenticeships, shadowing, and stretch assignments.
• Partner with business leaders, People Partnership, Talent, and HRIS to align development with performance management and talent planning.
• Build the L&D team and partner ecosystem while managing vendors, content, systems, and learning operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Business, or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Development.
• Experience building or significantly transforming an L&D function.
• Experience in operational, field-based, or industrial environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning, leadership development, capability building, stakeholder management, and performance measurement.
• Ability to work onsite at the Dallas, Texas headquarters.

• Experience with Workday Learning or related learning technology.
