Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Kendallville, Indiana, United States; onsite at the Kendallville Plant

Salary: $77,800–$97,300 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Direct maintenance personnel and coordinate corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance to support production, quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Improve equipment reliability, maintenance methods, processing methods, and operational life through equipment modifications and continuous improvement.
• Oversee maintenance of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, utility, boiler, ammonia refrigeration, process, and packaging systems.
• Analyze downtime reports, diagnose equipment malfunctions, establish repair procedures, and coordinate spare-parts inventory.
• Support maintenance budgets, capital projects, equipment upgrades, production standards, and facility improvements in partnership with engineering and business leaders.
• Lead safety activities, QRMP implementation, audits, maintenance training, and Lean, Six Sigma, and KHMS initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
• 1–5 years of related leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience with maintenance management systems and a strong understanding of maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems; boiler and ammonia refrigeration knowledge is beneficial.
• Experience with TPM systems is strongly preferred; Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting and programming experience is beneficial.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule covering days, afternoons, midnights, and weekends.
