Automation Maintenance Lead (Automation)

What you will do

• Maintain facility systems, production equipment, and automation to support operational reliability and asset availability.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues that affect safety, quality, or production.
• Develop and execute the site's preventive maintenance program and manage maintenance parts inventory and procurement.
• Support continuous improvement and capital projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, equipment acquisition, and installation.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on equipment reliability, audits, process changes, and technical support.
• Provide guidance on staffing, training, employee relations, and performance management for maintenance personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and processing systems, as well as blueprints and equipment drawings.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures, plant safety requirements, ANSI, and QS9000 regulations.
• Ability to use technical tools, troubleshoot plant equipment, prioritize work, and use computers.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
