Solution Architect (Data and AI Platform)

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and design of Snowflake-based data warehouses and dependent systems.
• Design real-time ingestion, streaming, AI-driven insights, and API-led integration capabilities.
• Define data structures and interfaces for natural-language querying and GenAI use cases.
• Establish secure, standardised practices for data warehousing, integration, and AI tooling.
• Define inter-system data flows, architectural roadmaps, governance standards, and technical direction.
• Diagnose complex system issues and coordinate teams and resources to resolve them.

Requirements

• Significant experience in software development, solution architecture, or data-platform architecture.
• Strong experience with Snowflake and its ecosystem, including data modelling and schema design with DBT and SqlDBM.
• Experience with AWS architecture, including EC2, RDS, databases, SQS, Kinesis, S3, and Lambda, plus familiarity with Azure.
• Experience with real-time ingestion, streaming and processing, API design, graph databases, and AI-enabled solutions including MCP.
• Familiarity with Tableau, GitHub, Jira, CI/CD, Agile delivery, architectural governance, requirements gathering, and end-to-end data-flow design.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
