Solution Architect - Cloud & Platforms (AWS)

What you will do

• Act as the enterprise subject matter expert for AWS cloud technologies.
• Design secure, scalable, resilient and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Create and govern high-level and low-level architecture designs and standards.
• Provide technical assurance for third-party cloud and digital service suppliers.
• Lead technical workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions and stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams.
• Support cloud transformation roadmaps, target-state architectures, performance reviews, security assessments and cost optimisation.

Requirements

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification.
• Strong experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutions across infrastructure, networking, digital, data and DevSecOps environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and their application in architecture.
• Experience working in large, multinational and complex organisations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing and business judgement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting large-scale cloud transformation programmes.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, modern digital platforms and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience developing architectural standards, governance processes and technology roadmaps.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain or multinational enterprise environments.
• Additional AWS, security or enterprise architecture certifications.
