Director, Business Process & Service - Derivatives Operations

What you will do

• Lead a regional derivatives margin operations team, providing direction, coaching, governance, and senior operational oversight.
• Own and enhance global margin control standards across APAC, EMEA, and the US.
• Drive a consistent change agenda with change teams, clients, and regional operations teams.
• Support new product rollouts, client-driven change, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Strengthen governance, controls, issue management, and service resilience.
• Improve OTC derivatives accounting processes and build relationships with senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in derivatives operations, margin, collateral, clearing, or a closely related financial services discipline.
• Strong understanding of cleared derivatives, OTC derivatives processes, margin services, and operational control environments.
• Proven experience leading complex operational teams or functions within a global financial services organization.
• Experience improving controls, governance, processes, and operational outcomes in high-volume, high-risk environments.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, clients, change partners, and cross-functional teams across regions.
• Strong people leadership, commercial awareness, sound judgment, and a risk-focused approach.
