Salary: $75,000–$156,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Python and Java services supporting data flow and analytics pipelines.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Podman, creating reproducible build environments.
• Automate builds, tests, and deployments using Python and Bash scripts, container registries, and orchestration platforms.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Integrate software components into service-oriented and broader system architectures.
• Troubleshoot containerized runtime issues and prepare technical documentation, reports, and status updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
• Fundamental understanding of software development and infrastructure concepts.
• Basic proficiency in Python and Java, with familiarity with Docker, Podman, and Git.
• Ability to develop and execute software tests, analyze designs, identify risks, and communicate technical ideas to diverse audiences.
• Applicants selected for the position may be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
