Software Engineer - Development

Location: Onsite five days a week in Frisco, Texas; the role supports a U.S. government client and is limited to U.S. citizens or full green card holders.

Salary: $63,360–$114,120 annually for a full-time schedule.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions based on technical documentation and functional specifications.
• Architect solutions and build scalable, robust software components using modern development practices.
• Document, unit-test, integrate, and deploy code, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
• Provide development estimates and guide features, functional objectives, and technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders while driving automation, quality, and problem-solving.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or full green card status is required.
• Onsite availability in Frisco, Texas, five days per week is required.
• At least 2 years of experience as a software engineer on complex software projects.
• Strong coding and debugging skills with Java, Python, .NET, or similar technologies.
• Experience with software development methodologies, scalable systems, relational and NoSQL databases, and REST services.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging queues.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud; certifications may also be obtained through hirify.global.
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
