Senior IT Support Analyst I (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Middle River, Maryland, United States

Base salary: $82,400–$103,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Deliver day-to-day IT services and support for staff, launch engineers, and technicians.
• Track and maintain Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and Project tickets and documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve complex client, server, network, and infrastructure issues independently, creating runbooks where needed.
• Own the onsite IT environment, including clients, servers, networks, and medium-to-complex projects from requirements through operational support.
• Provide technical guidance and communicate with site leadership, engineering, technician, and wider IT teams.
• Support Launch and Mission Operations during launch periods.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems, or infrastructure roles, with a STEM degree or equivalent technical background.
• Experience working with limited onsite supervision and owning IT projects through planning, implementation, testing, coordination, and support.
• Working knowledge of ITIL or a similar service delivery framework, including formal Change, Incident, Problem, and Configuration management.
• Strong experience in at least three areas including Windows and Linux, PC and server hardware, networking, scripting and automation, Active Directory and Group Policy, or monitoring and observability.
• Familiarity with AI platforms, effective prompt writing, evaluation of AI-generated outputs, and identifying AI opportunities for service delivery.
• For US office roles, candidates must meet applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.

Nice to have

• ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, or network vendor certifications.
• Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, virtualization, IaaS, IaC, Ansible, or Terraform experience.
• Industrial or OT environments, surveillance and NVR platforms, media streaming, or radio and voice communications systems.
• Telemetry, time-series, test data pipelines, security and compliance frameworks, or aerospace and other high-tech industry experience.
