System Administrator – Endpoint & Client Technologies (AI)

Location: New York, New York; rotating hybrid schedule with 2–3 onsite days and 2–3 remote days per week.

Base salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Administer Microsoft Intune across Windows, iOS, and macOS, including enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and Conditional Access.
• Manage Windows Autopilot, zero-touch provisioning, device baselines, application packaging, deployment, patching, and update rings.
• Configure endpoint security controls including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, BitLocker, attack-surface reduction, and security baselines.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, Windows Server, networking, and Azure troubleshooting.
• Deploy and govern enterprise AI desktop clients such as Claude, ChatGPT Desktop, and Google Gemini, including SSO/SCIM, data controls, plugins, connectors, and workspaces.
• Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support, monitor device health and compliance, automate administration with PowerShell, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in system administration, endpoint management, or desktop engineering.
• Hands-on production experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows 10/11, Windows Autopilot, and application packaging and deployment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, Windows Server, networking, and Azure.
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and experience with endpoint security tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and BitLocker.
• Experience configuring and managing enterprise AI desktop clients, tools, plugins, skills, connectors, and projects or workspaces.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, independent working, and service-oriented skills.

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, MS-102, AZ-104, or SC-300.
• Experience managing macOS or iOS devices through Intune.
• Microsoft Graph API, reporting and dashboarding, or Azure infrastructure experience.
• Experience in enterprise real estate, property management, or large corporate environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
