Water & Wastewater Process Design Engineer

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; hybrid work between office and field environments. The role may involve occasional exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazards, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, as well as operating a company vehicle and lifting up to 35 lbs.

What you will do

• Develop and review process and facility design plans, engineering calculations, and technical documentation for water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems.
• Apply engineering standards, design codes, and regulatory criteria throughout project delivery.
• Perform hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and system performance evaluations.
• Coordinate design efforts with internal disciplines, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Support project managers with design input, cost estimating, constructability reviews, and quality control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 4 years of water and wastewater process engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office and field environment in Austin, Texas.
