What you will do

• Review, prioritize, approve, modify, or suspend clearance requests for gas maintenance, repair, and construction work.
• Authorize field work, coordinate safe start conditions, and communicate with field personnel, upstream suppliers, internal teams, and external LDCs.
• Coordinate simultaneous work avoidance efforts and prevent conflicting operational activities.
• Monitor work events and system changes using clearance management and data-tracking tools.
• Review gas special instructions and prepare documentation and analysis for audits and operational reviews.
• Stop work when unsafe conditions or inadequate preparation are identified.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in technical operations, dispatch, logistics, or data analysis.
• Ability to interpret technical plans, procedures, processes, and schematic diagrams.
• Strong computer literacy and data manipulation skills using Excel, Access, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Ability to make sound decisions and remain composed during emergency and contingency conditions.
• Strong planning, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• At least one year of experience in the gas utility or natural gas transmission and distribution industry.
• Experience with SCADA, Synergi, j5, or similar utility operations and logging software.
• Experience exercising independent judgment in fast-paced operational environments.
