Field Specialist A (Oil and Gas)

Location: Orla, Texas, United States. Onsite field role with a rotating 14/14 schedule, including on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Relocation benefits are not available.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain oil and gas production equipment and facilities.
• Monitor and optimize production process variables to maintain equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Support gas compression, gas dehydration, artificial lift, well testing, chemical injection, saltwater disposal, and related production operations.
• Operate SCADA and computer control systems, test safety devices, and acquire and record production data.
• Create work orders and support inventory, maintenance planning, and prioritization through a computerized maintenance management system.
• Coordinate with employees and contractors while following hirify.global operational excellence, health, environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of current related experience in oil and gas or a related petrochemical industry.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability and willingness to work the assigned rotating schedule, including on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available, and individuals on time-limited visas will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in petroleum technology, process technology, or a related discipline.
• Three years of experience in unconventional oil and gas operations.
• Knowledge of gas lift, ESP, and rod pump artificial lift systems, plus pneumatic and electronic instrumentation.
• Experience with CTBs, SWDs, satellites, production equipment maintenance, CMMS, SCADA, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision.
