Controllers, Asset & Wealth Management Public Product Control, Vice President (Finance)

Location: Jersey City, NJ, United States; office-based position

Salary: $100,000–$265,000 base salary annually, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Support price verification for fixed income securities, mortgage structured products, Agency MBS, private credit, and other investment products.
• Develop valuation and price verification frameworks for newly traded securities, new funds, and alternative products.
• Collaborate with portfolio management, trading, technology, operations, risk, legal, compliance, and independent pricing vendors.
• Resolve daily valuation questions with independent fund administrators for mutual funds.
• Prepare management reports and valuation metrics for valuation committees, portfolio managers, controllers, fund boards, and clients.
• Review and update the valuation governance structure at least annually.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in financial markets and the investment management industry preferred.
• Willingness and drive to understand valuation methods for complex securities.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, take initiative, and work efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and AI tools including Copilot.
• Accounting, economics, or finance degree and CFA or CPA progress are preferred but not required.
