Product Analyst (Fixed Income)

Location: Newport Beach, CA, USA

Base salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Build expertise in investment processes, portfolio positioning, market outlooks, and multi-sector fixed income strategies.
• Support Account Managers and Client Management as an internal resource for assigned strategies.
• Build and maintain product, client-service, portfolio construction, and marketing materials.
• Construct attribution, performance, and risk reporting and explain portfolio performance.
• Write market updates and portfolio commentary that communicate investment views.
• Track competitors, support RFPs and DDQs, and help develop AI-powered tools for recurring workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, applied science, or a related discipline.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience; investment management or alternatives internship experience is preferred.
• Strong mathematical, quantitative, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg proficiency is preferred.
• Experience using emerging technologies and AI tools to solve problems and improve outcomes.
• Interest in financial markets, investing, macroeconomics, and pursuing the CFA designation.
