Sr. Technical Recruiter (AI)

Location: New York, NY (Hudson Square); in-office 4 to 5 days per week

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 per year for candidates based in New York City, plus potential equity, annual bonus, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end recruiting for Software Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, Data Engineering, and related technical roles.
• Advise the Head of Talent and hiring managers on role design, leveling, compensation, and candidate profiles.
• Source and close passive senior technical talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Gem, Juicebox, and professional networks.
• Design structured interview processes, calibration sessions, interviewer training, feedback collection, and hiring decisions.
• Manage Greenhouse pipelines, recruiting metrics, candidate experience, and process improvements.
• Mentor Talent team members and build scalable recruiting processes, scorecards, SOPs, and best practices.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, primarily in-house recruiting for Engineering and Product roles.
• Experience recruiting at a startup or growth-stage company during rapid scaling.
• Proven success sourcing and closing passive senior technical talent in competitive markets.
• Ability to explain startup equity, evaluate offers, and manage competing offers.
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Gem, Juicebox, or comparable tools.
• Strong technical fluency, stakeholder management, sourcing, process, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Recruiting experience in insurtech, fintech, or another regulated industry.
• Experience hiring engineering or product managers, directors, or heads of function.
• Experience using AI or automation tools to improve recruiting workflows.
