Senior Project Manager – Digital Transformation

Location: hirify.global Vancouver Campus, Vancouver, BC, Canada; onsite role

Salary: $11,397.00–$17,081.58 CAD monthly

What you will do

• Manage complex enterprise-level projects involving university-wide information systems and business process changes.
• Lead cross-functional teams including architects, analysts, developers, operations teams, functional experts, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop and manage project charters, implementation plans, schedules, budgets, resources, quality metrics, and RAID logs.
• Direct systems development, package implementation, scalability, performance, data migration, and enterprise systems integration.
• Manage procurement activities, contracts, service-level agreements, RFIs, and RFPs with Procurement and Legal teams.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews, resolve cross-program impacts, and coach project managers on delivery practices.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and at least nine years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Senior technical expertise in information technology project management and large-scale commercial or custom systems.
• Experience with project planning, budgeting, financial management, risk management, change management, and systems integration.
• Ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, facilitate groups, resolve conflicts, negotiate, and communicate with senior leaders.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions with significant financial impact, and manage projects within time, cost, scope, and quality objectives.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and respecting diverse perspectives.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional designation.
• Experience preparing and managing RFPs and vendor procurement processes.
• Experience in higher education or policy and regulatory compliance environments.
• Supervisory experience and a leadership focus on mentoring and coaching.
• Intermediate knowledge of application development methodologies and implementation best practices.
