Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of concurrent penetration testing engagements for SMB clients across web, mobile, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Lead pre-engagement discussions, create project plans and schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate delivery across teams.
• Manage scope changes, timelines, budgets, project risks, documentation, and client communications.
• Act as the primary client contact, leading kickoffs, status meetings, delivery debriefs, and difficult scope or scheduling conversations.
• Improve PMO processes, templates, tooling, project tracking, and engagement delivery practices.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of project management experience in IT services, consulting, or professional services.
• Experience independently managing multiple concurrent client engagements.
• Strong client-facing communication skills, including conversations with senior technology stakeholders.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and project lifecycles.
• Strong organization, written and verbal communication, judgment, and self-direction in a remote environment.
• Must be located within Canada for fully remote work.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, penetration testing, or information security consulting.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum certification.
• Knowledge of penetration testing lifecycles or security frameworks such as PCI-DSS, SOC 2, NIST, or ISO 27001.
• Experience with Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
• Experience working with technical consultants or engineering teams, or a relevant bachelor's degree.
