Project Manager (AI)

Location: Remote - Texas; periodic travel within the US is required for on-site client training and implementation support.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end student information system deployments from discovery and kickoff through go-live and post-implementation review.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, status reporting, and steering committee communications.
• Consult with higher education stakeholders on admissions, registration, grading, degree auditing, financial aid, compliance, and data governance.
• Define SIS integrations with LMS, CRM, ERP, and financial systems, and translate academic policies into technical configurations.
• Use AI-driven tools for data mapping, cleansing, migration, workflow automation, predictive analytics, and early-warning systems.
• Deliver training, support change management, build client relationships, identify expansion opportunities, and contribute to product roadmap improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in professional services, implementation, project management, higher education technology, or SIS platforms.
• Experience developing and delivering training for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong customer problem-solving, escalation management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for data migration, workflow automation, or analytics.
• Knowledge of higher education operations, FERPA, Title IV, and data governance principles.
• Experience identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities, contributing to proposals, and supporting consultative sales.

Nice to have

• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
• Direct experience implementing SIS platforms such as Ellucian or Jenzabar.
• Experience with AI-driven data migration or analytics tools in an enterprise environment.
• Background in change management methodologies or data governance policy development.
• Experience meeting or exceeding install-base revenue targets in professional services.
