HR Lifecycle Operations Lead (US HR Operations)

Location: Los Angeles, United States; fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end employee lifecycle operations, including onboarding, background checks, job status changes, and offboarding.
• Scale and standardize HR workflows by identifying operational gaps, automating manual touchpoints, and driving continuous improvement.
• Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Legal, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, and global Centers of Excellence.
• Oversee HR helpdesk operations, ticketing systems, knowledge bases, and employee support.
• Govern data integrity across Workday, Equifax, Sterling, HR tools, and internal databases while building reporting and audit frameworks.
• Lead strategic projects, technology implementations, vendor governance, compliance escalations, and a team of HR Operations Specialists.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Service Delivery.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience with enterprise HRIS platforms such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors and tools such as Sterling, Equifax, ServiceNow, or Jira.
• In-depth understanding of U.S. employment laws, HR compliance, and regulatory audit frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills, including dashboard development and establishing operational SLAs and KPIs.
• Exceptional communication, project management, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a highly regulated environment, joint venture, or complex global technology organization.
• Experience scaling HR processes, implementing helpdesk solutions, and driving automation.
• PMP or Agile/Lean certification.
