Senior Manager, People Operations

Location: United States, Eastern time coverage; ideally near hubs or future hubs in NYC, Washington, D.C., or Chicago. Fully remote role with up to 25% travel.

Base salary: $169,868–$222,050 annually, plus eligibility for stock options.

What you will do

• Lead global market-entry strategy with Legal, Tax, and Finance teams, including owned entities, EOR models, and contractor structures.
• Manage international EOR vendors, contracts, service-level agreements, and transitions from EOR employment to direct legal entities.
• Oversee the global HR technology stack, including HRIS, ATS, payroll, benefits, employee records, multi-currency capabilities, and data security.
• Design localized compensation, statutory benefits, healthcare, leave, and retirement programs.
• Establish global onboarding, role-change, mobility, visa sponsorship, and offboarding workflows.
• Analyze workforce metrics and coach, develop, and retain the People Operations team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience managing end-to-end People Operations functions and global HR initiatives.
• Proficiency with global HRIS, payroll, and EOR management platforms such as Rippling and Deel.
• Deep knowledge of international labor law, statutory benefits, worker classification, cross-border taxation, and data privacy regulations.
• Experience establishing foreign legal entities, managing multi-country compensation and benefits, and transitioning employees from EOR to direct employment.
• Knowledge of performance management, employee relations, global HR compliance reporting, and workforce analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
