Claims Appraiser - Auto Estimatics

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; candidates should reside within a commutable distance of the territory. This Remote-Field role combines virtual estimates from home with in-person appointments at body shops and customer locations. Work outside the assigned territory, flexible shifts, overtime, and irregular hours may be required.

Salary: $63,089.65–$82,000 annually, plus potential incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Collect vehicle information from repair shops and customers and prepare initial and supplemental repair estimates using photos and in-person inspections.
• Use automated estimating systems to evaluate vehicle damage, repairability, causation, market value, bid content, and photo documentation.
• Provide technical support to claim handlers on vehicle repair issues.
• Explain coverage and guide insureds through the claims process while delivering responsive customer service.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with customers and repair shops, including interactions involving strong emotions or concerns.

Requirements

• Experience in auto collision repair, auto damage estimating, or auto insurance appraisal.
• Excellent customer service, critical thinking, decision-making, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask across technical platforms and demonstrate accountability and resourcefulness.
• Physical agility for stooping, bending, and lifting required to evaluate vehicle damage and prepare estimates.
• Valid driver’s license and residence within commuting distance of the Oklahoma City territory.
• Successful completion of required training, licensing exams, Motor Vehicle Record checks, background checks, and any required pre-employment assessments.

Nice to have

• Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser License.
• Knowledge of CCC One or Mitchell.
• I-CAR Platinum Certification.
