Associate Auto Claim Representative

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, United States

Salary: $45,400–$74,900 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentives.

What you will do

• Complete structured virtual, classroom, and on-the-job training in insurance policies, claim processes, systems, and procedures.
• Assess coverage and compensability for personal and business claims involving automobiles, heavy equipment, mobile equipment, and property damage.
• Investigate claims by gathering information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and other resources.
• Evaluate potential fraud, establish reserves, determine resolution amounts, and issue accurate payments.
• Develop claim resolution plans, communicate claim status to all parties, and maintain accurate records in claim management systems.
• Adapt to AI, digital transformation, new workflows, system upgrades, and digital tools while maintaining service quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, along with internship or work experience in customer service or insurance.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain an active adjuster or insurance license where required, within three months of starting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with willingness to learn claims management systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, judgment, organization, attention to detail, and basic conflict-resolution skills.
• Willingness to participate in continuous learning and manage multiple priorities.
