Senior Program Manager (New Product Development)

Location: Toronto, Canada. Hybrid schedule with in-office work required on Wednesdays and Thursdays and as needed for collaboration and program activities.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 CAD annually, plus eligibility for short-term and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of moderately complex product development programs from planning through launch readiness and closeout.
• Build and communicate integrated plans covering scope, timing, capacity, dependencies, risks, milestones, and decision points.
• Coordinate product management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, IT, marketing, and support stakeholders.
• Manage dependencies, resource constraints, risks, conflicts, and material changes to program scope or plans.
• Lead milestone, design, and gate reviews within hirify.global’s new product development processes.
• Drive decision-making, clarify ownership, remove blockers, and apply lessons learned to improve program execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, management, computer science, or another directly engineering-related field.
• 10 years of progressive experience in engineering, product management, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of program management experience leading cross-functional teams through end-to-end delivery.
• Experience building program plans around scope, assumptions, dependencies, trade-offs, critical path, and risk.
• Ability to understand technical decisions at a systems level and identify their delivery, cost, quality, compliance, and integration impacts.
• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and provide concise, decision-ready updates to senior leaders.

Nice to have

• Experience managing end-to-end new product development programs using phase-gate or similar processes.
• Experience with full-system releases involving hardware, software, firmware, manufacturing, supply chain, service, and launch readiness.
• PMP, PgMP, or a related certification with practical application.
• Experience working with global teams, international suppliers, or distributed development and manufacturing organizations.
