Senior Program Manager (Genomics)

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Ontario, with remote work available; candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Salary: CAD 100,000–140,000 per year

What you will do

• Own external client programs and deliver contracted projects supporting research in Parkinson’s disease, ALS, autism, and related health areas.
• Coordinate product, engineering, and design teams, prioritize work, manage dependencies, and remove execution roadblocks.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, invoicing, formal reporting, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Identify delivery risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain transparency and accountability across projects.
• Lead recurring internal and client meetings, including agendas, presentations, minutes, and action-oriented follow-ups.
• Support contract renewals, service expansion, executive decision-making, and the adoption of project management and customer success practices.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of hands-on project management experience in a B2B or SaaS environment.
• Experience managing external stakeholders and high-value contracts, including contracts valued above CAD 1 million.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex programs with formal reporting obligations.
• Experience drafting and managing commercial contracts, including scope management and contract negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of PMBOK process groups, strategic planning, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
• Eligibility to work in Canada is required.

Nice to have

• Experience working with product and engineering teams in a small, agile company or startup.
• Knowledge of technology, data sharing, genomics, bioinformatics, life sciences, or regulated technical environments.
• Experience in customer success, product marketing, or community management.
• PMP certification and proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
