MBA Strategic Finance Intern (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; hybrid work at an hirify.global office location is required. The 12-week internship runs in either Cohort 1 from May 17 to August 6, 2027, or Cohort 2 from June 14 to September 3, 2027. Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States for the duration of the internship. A relocation stipend is provided.

Salary: $48–$54 per hour.

What you will do

• Lead three-year and one-year planning for Technology resources across the company, including resource allocation.
• Partner with Technology executives on end-to-end budget management and strategic financial decisions.
• Collaborate with Go-to-Market, Analytics, and Product teams to develop financial plans for product offerings.
• Monitor key performance indicators and highlight risks and opportunities to improve investment decisions.
• Lead planning and forecasting by consolidating business results and developing data-driven insights.
• Create executive presentations on financial performance and recommendations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an MBA program with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in FP&A or equivalent experience in corporate finance, accounting, investment banking, consulting, or strategy.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analyzing complex business scenarios and building or improving financial models.
• Familiarity with AI tools and curiosity about applying AI to real-world problems.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, presentation, influencing, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, synthesize large data volumes, and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the high-tech industry.
• Experience with Tableau or Hyperion Essbase.
