Corporate FP&A Manager (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work with office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

Salary: USD $120,000–$140,000 annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range strategic planning cycles.
• Develop and maintain P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow models for scenario planning and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate the FP&A forecasting calendar, consolidate financial inputs, and prepare variance commentary.
• Analyze actual performance against budgets and forecasts to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with Marketing, Operations, G&A, Product, and Engineering leaders on financial planning and guidance.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and executive stakeholders, while improving FP&A processes and implementing Pigment for budgeting automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, experience with a financial planning tool, and experience using AI in financial forecasting or reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in the San Francisco office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or another relevant professional designation.
• Experience with Aleph, NetSuite, SQL, or business intelligence tools such as Tableau.
• Experience with consumer lending or credit products.
