Strategic Finance

Location: Hybrid, based in San Francisco; office attendance required 3 days per week

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 annually for Tier 1 (San Francisco), plus equity

What you will do

• Analyze critical business questions and build accurate financial models to support strategic decisions.
• Define, track, and report go-to-market KPIs through dashboards and performance updates.
• Lead sales performance reviews and translate performance data into execution and accountability.
• Manage budget-versus-actuals reviews and help leaders evaluate financial performance.
• Analyze deal patterns, close-rate trends, resource allocation opportunities, and business gaps.
• Support ARR forecasting, headcount and capacity analysis, territory and quota modeling, and GTM reporting automation using Sigma, Snowflake, and AI tools.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
• Strong financial modeling skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and SaaS revenue recognition.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting financial insights to leadership.
• Ability to investigate ambiguous data issues independently and operate without a detailed playbook.
• Active interest in using AI tools to write SQL queries and automate reporting and commentary.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Sigma and/or Snowflake.
• Fluency with AI tools, particularly Claude, for modeling and reporting.
• Experience at a high-growth SaaS company.
