Salary: $92,900–$124,500 per year in Orlando, Florida

What you will do

• Own and manage the full Splunk environment from bare-metal infrastructure and operating systems through architecture, dashboards, and analytics.
• Design, deploy, configure, and optimize Splunk indexers, search heads, forwarders, and clusters.
• Manage on-premise physical servers and hybrid integrations supporting real-time, high-availability systems.
• Build dashboards, alerts, data pipelines, and ingestion strategies using logs, sensors, applications, and control-system data.
• Optimize parsing, indexing, search performance, infrastructure reliability, redundancy, and resilience.
• Partner with software engineering leaders, improve platform architecture, and evaluate Splunk ecosystem tools such as ITSI, ES, and Cribl.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Splunk administration and development, including end-to-end ownership of a Splunk environment.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise architecture, data ingestion, parsing, optimization, dashboards, and alerts.
• Experience with on-premise or bare-metal infrastructure, server provisioning, performance tuning, and system monitoring.
• Experience supporting real-time, high-availability systems and strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or a similar language.
• Linux administration experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, information technology, or a related field, or relevant work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with engineering, industrial, or operational technology environments.
• Familiarity with Cribl, ELK, Prometheus, or other observability and logging tools.
• Experience with event-driven systems, telemetry data, IoT, sensor integrations, or high-throughput data ingestion.
• Splunk Admin, Architect, or Developer certification.
