Platform Engineer

hirify.global is a developer platform for building crypto-powered software on the Solana blockchain, providing high-performance infrastructure and services used by applications such as Coinbase, Jupiter, and Phantom.

What you will do

• Automate the full bare metal server lifecycle, including provisioning, operating system installation, configuration, hardware validation, and decommissioning.
• Build and maintain tooling for engineers to interact with and operate the server fleet.
• Standardize software delivery through CI pipelines, artifact management, deployment tooling, and rollbacks.
• Implement security roadmap initiatives, including SSO-integrated access, jump hosts, secrets management, least-privilege access, and audit trails.
• Analyze fleet costs, improve infrastructure observability, participate in on-call and incident response, and create operational runbooks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience provisioning and managing physical servers, including PXE, IPMI/BMC, RAID, NICs, and dedicated-server or colocation providers.
• Strong Linux fundamentals, including systemd, networking, storage, and performance tuning.
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code, such as Ansible, Terraform, Salt, or Nix.
• Solid scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, Bash, or a similar language.
• Security-focused approach to access control, blast radius, and secrets management.

Nice to have

• Rust experience or an interest in reading and debugging Rust services.
• Experience with high-performance networking or low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with ClickHouse, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Experience at a high-scale B2B infrastructure company.
