Principal Platform Engineer

Location: Beaverton, OR, United States. Must be U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) or obtain U.S. government export authorizations due to ITAR requirements.

Salary: $104,300–$193,700

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions across AWS, on-prem, and hybrid environments
• Build and maintain reusable IaC modules and platform components
• Develop secure-by-design solutions aligned to CMMC Level 2 and enterprise security requirements
• Lead network segmentation, identity integration, logging, and monitoring implementations
• Drive automation practices including CI/CD pipelines and Policy as Code
• Solve complex infrastructure challenges and mentor teams on best practices

Requirements

• 8+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure roles
• Strong hands-on AWS experience, preferably multi-account environments
• Deep experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Strong networking, identity, and security implementation knowledge
• Experience in regulated environments like CMMC or NIST
• CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and scripting skills (Python, Bash)
• Proven ability to deliver from design to operation
