Staff Software Engineer- Eng (Go)

Salary: $129,500–$186,100 per year, plus potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Build and maintain production Go services for critical database platforms.
• Design infrastructure automation for database provisioning, configuration, lifecycle management, and self-service delivery.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and Helm across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, observability, reliability, performance, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Respond to and resolve P1/P2 incidents involving provisioning, replication, connectivity, and service failures.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, documentation, sprint activities, mentoring, and on-call support.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software or platform engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on production Go development with strong architectural knowledge.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-native technologies, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Terraform, Helm, CI/CD, monitoring systems, and production service operations.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL, and GCP services such as GKE, Cloud SQL, and Secret Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Master's degree, relevant cloud or database certifications, and experience with open-source cloud-native projects.
• SRE principles, DevOps practices, GitOps workflows, and advanced CI/CD automation.
• Certificate management with cert-manager, ACME, or PKI.
• Managed database services such as MongoDB Atlas, AWS RDS, or GCP Cloud SQL.
