Senior Business Analyst (NFR Compliance)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid work with the option to work from home or the office

What you will do

• Define, validate, maintain, and translate business requirements into solution designs, user stories, and implementation tasks.
• Support the Product Owner and squad with backlog management, prioritization, stakeholder communication, and delivery tracking.
• Coordinate with Compliance, HR, data, reporting, technology, operations, and external vendor teams on application changes and integrations.
• Analyze data using SQL, assess data accuracy, support data mart activities, and work with API requirements, parameters, payloads, and data-transfer logic.
• Manage configuration changes, incident management, release activities, UAT, testing evidence, and issue escalation.
• Automate regression testing through INGenious and use Copilot AI to automate processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Relevant Business Analyst experience in banking, preferably with knowledge of the Compliance domain.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with external vendors and distributed, cross-functional Agile teams.
• Understanding of data feeds, data models, process modelling with BPMN, REST APIs, and SQL queries.
• Experience with functional and integration testing, regression testing, UAT, release management, and rollout of solutions across multiple entities.
• Affinity for technology and IT, with the ability to understand application configuration and vendor implementations.
• Advanced English and a Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Economic or IT-related field are required.
