Associate General Counsel, Product (Quantum Computing)

Location: Fully remote in the US, or onsite/hybrid from one of hirify.global's US offices. Travel up to 10%.

Base salary: $160,000–$240,000 USD annually, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Advise product and research teams across the full lifecycle of quantum technology products.
• Lead regulatory compliance for the manufacture, distribution, and sale of products in the US and abroad.
• Draft, negotiate, and execute strategic partnerships, licensing, joint development, supply, and manufacturing transactions.
• Build the playbooks, processes, and infrastructure for a scalable product legal function.
• Collaborate with product, research, engineering, finance, privacy, compliance, trade, and external counsel stakeholders.
• Translate complex legal, product, engineering, and business concepts into clear, actionable guidance.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing in at least one US state bar, or eligibility for in-house or registered counsel status.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Substantial experience advising on regulatory compliance for manufacturing, distribution, and sale of technology products in the US and abroad.
• Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex technology transactions with business or product impact.
• Ability to handle both regulatory and transactional matters and advise on novel legal questions amid ambiguity.
• For US technical roles, access to export-controlled technology and certain government-contract work requires verification of US Person status or applicable authorization.
