Salary: $75,000–$156,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Define, analyze, allocate, and verify system and subsystem requirements.
• Translate mission and customer needs into system and capability requirements.
• Develop use cases, CONOPS, functional system models, requirement trees, and flow-downs within MBSE and digital engineering frameworks.
• Coordinate and participate in formal and informal requirements assessments, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
• Develop test strategies, test designs, and simulation-based performance and verification analyses.
• Identify design risks and concerns, contribute to technical reports and presentations, and communicate findings to project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in systems engineering, with an emphasis on requirements engineering.
• Practical experience with systems engineering processes and a system-level approach to problem solving.
• Familiarity with MBSE and/or digital engineering tools and methods.
• Strong oral and written communication, organization, and independent execution skills.
• May require the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience with modeling and simulation, coding languages, SysML, STPA, DOORS, or other engineering analysis tools.
• Knowledge of GN&C, avionics architectures, fault tolerance, cybersecurity, communications, or encryption.
