Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Manufacturing site serving the New Haven and Hartford markets; occasional travel to other sites may be required.

Salary: $128,636–$192,954 base salary annually, plus a performance-related bonus plan.

What you will do

• Define and execute the technical strategy for the manufacturing site.
• Lead technical resolution of complex engineering and production challenges.
• Improve safety, quality, throughput, cost performance, and manufacturing processes.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Support capital projects through planning, budgeting, execution, and validation.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, technology adoption, standardization, and engineering talent development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related Engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 8–12+ years of engineering experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably high-volume operations.
• Strong expertise in mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and equipment design.
• Experience leading engineering teams or cross-functional projects.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, reliability engineering, maintenance strategies, and process optimization.
