Recruiter, Communications (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY. Hybrid policy: staff must work from one of the offices at least 25% of the time; some roles may require more office time.

Annual salary: $240,000–$295,000 USD

What you will do

• Own recruiting searches for the Communications team from intake through offer.
• Partner with communications leaders and advise on talent availability, compensation, and hiring strategy.
• Source and engage passive candidates through creative channels.
• Build trust with senior leaders and provide data-based recommendations.
• Run a high-touch recruiting process for senior, executive, and confidential searches.
• Support future hiring for Brand and Marketing as the team grows.

Requirements

• Experience recruiting for communications, public relations, or adjacent roles.
• 10+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience and a record of closing senior, hard-to-fill roles.
• Experience hiring for a high-growth technology company with a significant public narrative.
• Ability to build networks across media, agency, and in-house communications talent.
• Experience supporting executive hiring and handling confidential searches discreetly.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
