What you will do

  • Partner with Department of Pharmacy leadership and subject matter experts to define priorities and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Design, develop, validate, document, and maintain reporting, semantic modeling, and analytics solutions.
  • Develop SQL queries, data transformations, governed analytics assets, data extracts, and reports for pharmacy operations, quality, and regulatory reporting.
  • Translate complex healthcare data and analytical findings into clear insights for operational teams and senior leadership.
  • Support quality improvement, patient safety, medication stewardship, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Participate in documentation, source control, peer review, testing, data quality, and deployment processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or four years of equivalent technical experience.
  • Strong SQL, dimensional modeling, semantic modeling, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business and technical requirements into reports, data extracts, and other deliverables.
  • Experience with or understanding of healthcare operations, pharmacy workflows, quality improvement, patient safety, or regulatory reporting is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Tableau, Epic data models, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD practices is preferred.
  • Periodic onsite attendance in Durham, North Carolina is required based on business and stakeholder needs.
