Senior Analytics Engineering Developer (Epic)

Location: Hybrid role in Brentwood, Tennessee, United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data models and transformations using Epic Clarity and Caboodle data.
• Lead complex analytics solutions, data products, and reporting layers.
• Write, optimize, and review advanced SQL and transformation logic.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured, high-performance data solutions.
• Establish analytics engineering standards for data modeling, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with stakeholders, data engineers, and Epic teams while supporting code promotion, CI/CD, production operations, and data quality resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, BI development, or data engineering.
• Strong experience with Epic EMR data, including Clarity and/or Caboodle.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills, including dimensional modeling and normalization.
• Experience building and supporting production-grade analytics solutions in agile environments.
• Experience with dbt, Databricks, and visualization tools such as Omni, Qlik Sense, Qlik NPrinting, or Power BI.

Nice to have

• Epic Cogito or Clarity certifications.
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, or ServiceNow.
• Deep experience in healthcare analytics or clinical and operational data.
