Programmer Analyst IV (Analytics Engineering)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain analytics-ready datasets using dbt and SQL.
• Design dimensional models and semantic data structures for downstream analysts.
• Implement data quality testing, documentation, and governance standards.
• Explore and model data across academic, clinical, financial, research, and operational systems.
• Partner with stakeholders, analysts, and data engineers to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Contribute to analytics engineering standards and data platform improvements.

Requirements

• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with dbt and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or Redshift.
• Experience with data quality testing, Git-based development, and CI/CD practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer-related studies and four years of experience in computer programming or operations research, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly about complex technical topics, work independently, and complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience installing and maintaining personal computers.
