Analytics Engineering Analyst

Location: Hybrid role in Brentwood, Tennessee, United States

What you will do

• Transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets within the silver layer of a medallion architecture.
• Own well-scoped data modeling tasks and develop SQL and basic dbt models and tests.
• Contribute to BI modeling and semantic layer development.
• Create model READMEs and documentation, including data caveats.
• Support data quality checks, validation, lineage, and catalog maintenance.
• Collaborate with senior team members to map metrics to business questions and incorporate feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data modeling.
• Coursework or experience in data modeling and statistics.
• Proficiency in SQL and basic familiarity with dbt.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with BI modeling fundamentals and basic Git version control workflows.
