Procurement Specialist (Fintech)

Location: St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Support supplier selection through evaluation, documentation, and analysis.
• Participate in vendor negotiations covering pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Contribute to contract implementation, compliance, and organizational value.
• Develop supply chain logistics setups focused on availability, lead time, inventory, and cost.
• Drive procurement projects and develop specifications for services, equipment, and materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or vendor management.
• Experience supporting negotiations and managing supplier relationships in a global environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, process, and documentation skills.
• Clear communication skills and experience working across cross-functional, matrixed teams.
• Ability to work from St. John's with at least 3 days per week in the office.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CPSM, CIPS, or PMP.
• Experience with technology, fintech, or capital markets procurement.
• Familiarity with procurement platforms or ERP systems such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle.
