Supplier Manager, CIB (12-month secondment)

Location: Hybrid working in London or Bristol, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time in an office.

Salary: £72,702–£80,780 per year

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of Corporate Institutional Bank suppliers in line with business risk appetite.
• Lead sourcing, procurement, commercial negotiations, onboarding, ongoing management, and contract renewals.
• Support business users in onboarding third-party suppliers while maintaining compliance with Group policies.
• Drive supplier value, spend management, innovation, and effective commercial outcomes.
• Lead meetings between suppliers and business users and provide professional advice to colleagues and key partners.
• Manage supplier-related risk events and ensure relationships align with agreed frameworks and business risk tolerance.

Requirements

• Practical experience creating or applying supplier or supply chain management procedures.
• Experience building relationships with and influencing stakeholders at different levels, including supplier owners.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple sources to identify process improvements or business impacts.
• Experience leading sourcing, procurement activities, and commercial negotiations.
• Commercial banking knowledge or experience is advantageous but not essential.
