Location: Stockton-on-Tees, United Kingdom. Hybrid working is available after an initial training period of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

hirify.global’s Procurement division is supporting an organisation with procurement activities for safe and reliable plant operations.

What you will do

• Lead RFQs, tender activities, supplier quotation evaluations, and recommendations for supplier selection.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract conditions to achieve value and mitigate commercial risk.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers, including due diligence and supplier audits.
• Maintain contracts, amendments, supplier records, and procurement data within company systems.
• Manage supplier performance through KPIs, SLAs, NCRs, review meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support purchasing for operational maintenance, planned outages, shutdowns, invoice dispute resolution, and cost-reduction activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a procurement role.
• Experience leading RFQs or tenders and delivering cost savings.
• Working knowledge of terms and conditions and contract forms.
• Confident use of ERP and data management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with an understanding of procurement and sourcing principles.
