What you will do
- Design and implement secure, scalable integrations across EHR, claims, public-health, and partner systems.
- Configure MLLP gateways, Apache NiFi pipelines, Open Integration Engine adapters, and healthcare interfaces.
- Develop and support bidirectional CHIE and partner exchange integrations.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, message routing, interface configuration, testing, and production support.
- Troubleshoot complex interface and data-flow issues and document technical solutions with internal teams and external partners.
- Work autonomously on project-level goals across architecture, engineering, testing, and onboarding functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of related software integration engineering experience.
- Experience developing healthcare interfaces with HL7 v2 and MLLP.
- Experience configuring Apache NiFi pipelines and Open Integration Engine adapters.
- Strong skills in data mapping, transformation, message routing, and complex interface troubleshooting.
- Experience with Java, scripting, XML, JSON, SQL, and API integration.
- U.S. citizenship and residence within the continental United States are required. A background check and ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance may be required.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating EHR, claims, public-health, HIE, or CHIE data.
- Experience supporting federal Health IT programs, including VA, DHA, or HHS.
