Senior Java Developer

Location: Hybrid role based in Schaerbeek, Belgium

What you will do

• Develop Java applications using Quarkus, Java 8+, JSP, and SQL.
• Build and deploy cloud applications using AWS services including SQS, SNS, and S3.
• Design and integrate REST and SOAP web services using XML and XSD.
• Work with OpenShift, Maven, Git, Nexus, Jenkins, and CI/CD tooling.
• Implement unit and functional tests and support integration activities.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Quarkus, Java 8+, JSP, SQL, AWS, OpenShift, REST/SOAP, XML, and XSD.
• Experience with Maven, Git, Nexus, Jenkins, CI/CD, testing, integrations, and technical design.
• Strong technical analysis, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Native Dutch or French, very good knowledge of the other national language, and very good English are required.
